On Friday 20th November we held a fundraiser at the Carlton Club in central Luton to raise money for the general election campaign funds for Luton North and Luton South.

Jeremy Brier and I were delighted to have Greg Hands MP as the guest speaker. 

Mr Hands is the shadow treasury minister and he gave a stirring speech highlighting the importance of the two Luton seats in securing a Conservative election victory, and giving a stinging criticism of the incompetence and arrogance of the current government and Gordon Brown in particular.

We were delighted to receive guests from as far afield as Lincolnshire and Oxfordshire as well as Luton and of course London where the event was held.
