It was an honour to attend the 75th anniversary of the presentation of the Silver Drums event at Norton Barracks. Celebrating and commemorating our rich history and heritage in this way is so important, and it’s just one of many brilliant events happening locally.
It was great to talk to veterans - many of whom had fond memories of their time in The Worcestershire Regiment.
I also took the opportunity to have a tour of the new youth facilities at the barracks — another great addition to this vibrant local community.
