I recently attended a drop-in event with the British Beer and Pub Association to show my support for the brilliant pubs and breweries that play such an important role in our communities.
We discussed the importance of backing the sector, which contributes £34.3 billion to the UK economy, generates £18 billion in taxes, and supports over 1 million jobs across the country.
Local pubs are not just places to socialise, they’re often the heart of our towns and villages, creating jobs, supporting tourism, and bringing people together. I’ll continue to support measures that help them thrive.
