New Community Bus service in Droitwich

I have received a lot of correspondence from constituents in recent months about the withdrawal of the 17 bus service in Droitwich. The bus service had been withdrawn due to very low passenger numbers which meant the cost of continuing to run it could not be justified. 

Firm action needed after Salisbury poisoning

On Thursday 8th March, the Home Secretary delivered a statement to the House of Commons about the assassination attempt on Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury on 4th March.

DCMS Committee report on doping in sport

On Monday 5th March the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee released its report into doping in British sport, which focused in particular on cycling’s Team Sky and UK Athletics.

Government action on puppy welfare

I welcome the new legislation that has been laid before Parliament today by Environment Secretary Michael Gove. The raft of measures he introduced will crackdown on unscrupulous puppy breeders and protect puppies so they have the best possible start in life.

Worcestershire's new Local Funding Settlement
