Question on the British Asparagus Festival

Today, in the House of Commons chamber, I told the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Michael Gove, about the great British Asparagus Festival currently being held in the Vale of Evesham. 

Visit from Flyford Flavell First School

It was great to welcome Flyford Flavell First School to Parliament today during their visit to the Parliamentary Education Centre, where I was asked lots of interesting questions.

Visit to Broadway Horse Trials

Over the bank holiday weekend I managed to spend some time at the Broadway Horse Trials at Lybrook Farm, where I enjoyed not only the trials but also the beautiful landscapes.

Cropthorne Walkabout

On Sunday, I had another fantastic day at the Cropthorne Walkabout.

Thank you to all the local residents and societies this past weekend who opened up their gardens for us all to enjoy and allowing us to bring our community together and welcome visitors to this lovely village.

Day at Evesham Regatta

There was a lot going on in the constituency over the weekend and I was pleased to attend events rights across the constituency, including the Evesham Regatta on Sunday. 

Question on the awareness of climate change

Today, in the House of Commons Chamber, I asked the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, the Secretary of State for Environmental, Rural and Agricultural Affairs whether he was as impressed as I am with the young people in our constituencies and their level of concern and awareness about climate change.

Visit from Swan Lane First School

I was delighted to have the chance to catch Swan Lane First School yesterday at the end of their school visit to Parliament. 

Evesham's bid for the Future High Street Fund

Last Friday I met with representatives from Wychavon District Council and Worcestershire County Council as well as local business leaders to talk about Evesham’s bid for the Future High Street Fund and the further regeneration of the town centre.
