I have called another parliamentary debate on puppy smuggling, due to take place on Tuesday, 2nd April. I previously held a debate on this issue in 2017 and I have long been an active campaigner in Westminster on issues relating to animal welfare.
On 27th March 2019 I participated in the first round of indicative votes on Brexit. In a constitutional first, backbench MPs took control of parliamentary business and voted on a series of options for how the UK could proceed with Brexit.
On Saturday, I joined 40 other local residents from the Evesham Anti Litter Group to help with The Great British Spring Clean and was thrilled to hear this was the biggest turn-out they've had with people wanting to get involved to #KeepBritainTidy.
Today during Oral Questions to the Department for Transport, I asked Minister Jesse Norman about the Department's plans for further investment in the A46 and how it is working with Midlands Connect to unlock the corridor's potential.
