The Armistice Centenary

The 11th November 2018 marked 100 years since the cessation of the First World War. At 11am, the time that the guns finally fell silent in 1918, people across the UK also fell silent for two minutes of quiet reflection and remembrance.

Meeting Network Rail in Pershore Station

On Friday 2nd November I joined Harriett Baldwin, MP for West Worcestershire, for a meeting with Mark Langman of Network Rail at Pershore Station. We were also joined by Vic Allison of the County Council, who gave us a quick tour of the station.

Visit to the Lygon Arms in Broadway

On Friday 2nd November, I met with Jason Adams at The Lygon Arms hotel in Broadway. Jason is the General Manager of the hotel and updated me on recent business.

Visit to Weaving Machinery

On Friday 26th October I visited Weaving Machinery. 

This family-run farm machinery manufacturer based in the Vale of Evesham has managed to build a great international reputation and it was a pleasure to be shown around the site by Edward Weaving.

Business Breakfast at Chateau Impney

On Friday 19th October, I had the pleasure of hosting a Business Breakfast at the Chateau Impney with local MEP, Anthea Macintyre.

Visit to Aztec Adventures

I really enjoyed visiting Aztec Adventures water sports and activity centre near Droitwich Spa on Friday afternoon. What a great place!

Visit to Hospital Pathology Department

On Friday 19th October, I met with General Manager John Auld and his colleagues at the Pathology Department in Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

New specialist stroke centre in Evesham

I was delighted to officially open the Worcestershire Stroke Rehabilitation Centre in Evesham Community Hospital on Friday 12th October.
