The 11th November 2018 marked 100 years since the cessation of the First World War. At 11am, the time that the guns finally fell silent in 1918, people across the UK also fell silent for two minutes of quiet reflection and remembrance.
On Friday 2nd November I joined Harriett Baldwin, MP for West Worcestershire, for a meeting with Mark Langman of Network Rail at Pershore Station. We were also joined by Vic Allison of the County Council, who gave us a quick tour of the station.
I really enjoyed visiting Aztec Adventures water sports and activity centre near Droitwich Spa on Friday afternoon. What a great place!
Thanks so much to Mark and the team for showing us around and I really look forward to returning very soon - with the children!
