£8 million additional funding for hospital

£8 million has been made available to the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust by NHS England to fund the refurbishment of the Aconbury wards in Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Health and Care Trust rated amongst best

Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, which is responsible for community nursing, therapy and mental health services in Worcestershire, has been placed in ‘Segment 1’ by an independent organisation called NHS Improvement which supports Trusts across the country to provide safe care to patient

Weekend activities

I had a busy day in the constituency on Friday which began with a meeting with Sally and Paul from Evesham and District Mental Health Support Services to discuss plans for the next few years.

I have seen some comments in local media over the past few weeks about my activities in relation to traffic congestion in Evesham and the quotes attributed to me do not accurately reflect my view on the matter or where responsibility for roads lies.

Concert for Heroes

It was my pleasure to attend the packed Concert for Heroes at the Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich Spa on Friday. It was an evening of fantastic music, with performances from the Kidderminster Male Choir, West Midlands Fire Service Band and RAF Cosford Voluntary Band. 

Upcoming works on M5 junction 6

Highways England will shortly be commencing works on junction 6 of the M5 which are due to last until Spring 2019.

#LoveEvesham event
