Campaign to Cut Beer Duty

I have joined  the British Beer & Pub Association, the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) and the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) by sending a ‘Message in a Barrel’, calling on the Chancellor of the Exchequer to cut beer duty in the Budget on 16th March.

Radical Overhaul at the BBC

In a report published this week, the House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee, of which I am a member, has recommended that the BBC needs a radical overhaul of its governance arrangements.
