I welcome the new legislation that has been laid before Parliament today by Environment Secretary Michael Gove. The raft of measures he introduced will crackdown on unscrupulous puppy breeders and protect puppies so they have the best possible start in life.
The Government has launched a consultation on its proposed changes to Blue Badges. These proposals represent the biggest change in Blue Badge policy since 1970 and could benefit people living with hidden disabilities such as dementia and autism.
I was in the House of Commons on Friday 19th January to show my support for the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation and Liability for Housing Standards) Bill. The Bill was brought to the House by Labour MP Karen Buck and has the support of Government and members of all political parties.

The Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust heard this week that it will be receiving additional government funding to help local Worcestershire hospitals through the peak Winter period and for capital improvements.
