Good news for zoos

Since 15th June, zoos have been able to reopen outdoor areas, but I'm pleased that to further help their businesses recover from the impact of lockdown restrictions the Government has dedicated a further £100 million as a support fund.

Debate on Support for UK Industries

Last week, I represented the Government in a debate in the House of Commons on what support is available to our UK industries in this health crisis.

Visit to Broadway

Some pictures from a very picturesque day in Broadway. It was great to be able to go into the shops and chat to some of the business owners.

Visit to Evesham

Although proper visits aren't quite under way yet, I've taken the opportunity the last couple of weeks to be out and about in the constituency. 

Broadway opening up

Last week, I met up with Councillor Liz Eyre on a lovely and sunny Friday in Broadway. 

It was heartening to hear how those in the village have adapted to the lockdown, and it was great to see the preparations to restaurants and pubs who are gearing up to open again next week.

Shopping in Droitwich

Over, the weekend, it was great to see so many shops open for business again.

Even at the busy stores, queues are moving quickly and everyone is abiding by social distancing. Pictures here from Droitwich.

Visit to Hanbury Hall

It was great to be out and about in the constituency today, visiting the National Trust site Hanbury Hall in Droitwich.

Funding from Arts Council

The Arts Council England have donated an incredible £49,500 to organisations or creative practitioners in the constituency as part of their Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund.

Gov approval for Coronavirus treatment
