It was a real pleasure to visit Gloverspiece Minifarm for their annual awards ceremony, where I had the honour of presenting awards alongside the Chairman of Wychavon District Council and Reverend Laura Handy.

Gloverspiece is a remarkable local organisation that has been making a difference to the lives of children and young people for many years. Based just outside Droitwich, the care farm provides therapeutic support through nature, farming and rescued animals, while also being home to an award-winning specialist school for children with additional needs.

The awards ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the hard work, determination and achievements of the students over the past year. It was inspiring to see the confidence they have developed and to hear about everything they have accomplished.

During my visit, I also had the opportunity to meet some of the farm's wonderful animals, which play such an important role in the therapeutic environment that makes Gloverspiece so special.

I would like to thank everyone at Gloverspiece for the warm welcome and for the incredible work they do every day. The dedication of the staff, volunteers and supporters is making a real difference to the lives of young people across Worcestershire, and it was a privilege to help celebrate another fantastic year of achievements.
