As Christmas approaches, I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The festive season is a wonderful time to come together with family and friends, to celebrate, reflect on the year gone by, and look forward to the opportunities and challenges of the year ahead.

Here in Worcestershire, the spirit of Christmas and the community is excellent. From Christmas tree festivals to late night shopping in Broadway, as well as charity events, it is heartwarming to see so many people working together to spread joy and support those in need. My thanks go to the countless volunteers, community groups, and organisations who make this possible.

However, I know that Christmas can also be a difficult time for some. For those facing loneliness, bereavement, or hardship, this season can feel especially challenging. I encourage everyone to check in with neighbours and friends who might be alone or struggling during this time.

I also want to pay tribute to our emergency services, those working overseas with our armed forces, and also those in the private sector who will be working throughout the holidays to keep us safe and support our communities.

As we reflect on the past year, I remain committed to representing my constituents and tackling the issues that matter most to our local community. I will continue to work tirelessly for you in 2025.

Whatever your plans are this Christmas, I hope you have the chance to rest, celebrate, and enjoy time with loved ones. Wishing you all a joyful Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

With warmest wishes,

Nigel Huddleston MP
