At today's DCMS Oral Questions in the House of Commons I asked the Culture Minister what conversations and actions took place in the period between being notified that Israeli fans may be banned from the Maccabi/Villa game and the actual ban announcement. It appears, not a lot.
So - not only the police, but DCMS and Home Office officials also have more questions to answer about this sad situation.
