I met last week with Mark Wright, the winner of this year’s 'The Apprentice' TV show to discuss opportunities for businesses in the digital age.
Mark Wright has spent several years working in the internet advertising space and he has helped several local businesses with their digital offerings including the Wood Norton hotel near Evesham which is owned by businessman Jeremy Wrigley. Mark and I therefore share a mutual interest in the travel secros as I am currently the Industry Head of Travel at Google where my job involved helping hotel and holiday companies with their websites and online advertising.
It was great to meet Mark and hear about his experience on the Apprentice and also about the new digital advertising agency he is building: climb-online.co.uk. Mark is just as energetic in real life as he appeared on the Apprentice show - so I can see why Lord Sugar chose him. He is passionate about the internet and his new business is geared towards helping both large and small companies exploit online business opportunities.
