The first few weeks in my role have been hectic, exciting and occasionally heart-wrenching...
I have enjoyed getting into the swing of things in parliament and I now have an office, staff, a working phone and email up and running.
I have got through my Maiden Speech and am now contributing to debates and asking questions in the Commons.
The most enjoyable part of the role of an MP for me is back in the constituency on Friday's and Saturday's: visiting local schools, businesses, groups and institutions. I really appreciate everyone who has let me come and visit them over the last few weeks including the Grange, St Mary's and Westland Schools; Rooftop Housing and Yates court; Cotswold line promotion group, as well as local police, doctors and the Worcestershire Royal Hospital and many others. I have also attended many fetes and events in from Cutnall Green and Drotwich in the north of the constituency to Evesham and Pebworth in the south - and many more to come in the coming weeks.
I am holding regular surgeries and Evesham and Droitwich and if you would like to reserve a space at one of these or discuss and issue I may be able to help with then please contact my office on 0207 219 5814 or nigel.huddleston.mp@parliament.uk.
