Yesterday in the House of Commons chamber I asked Prime Minister Theresa May, following her EU Council meeting with other European leaders, through what mechanisms will the UK be able to exert leadership on the important issues of climate change and online harms once we leave the EU.

The UK is already a global leader in these areas, typified by the net-zero emissions target and leading the Global Forum on internet harms to remove extremist and terrorist content, and I am pleased this will continue to be the case once Brexit is delivered.
