It was a pleasure to join veterans, serving members of the armed forces, civic leaders and local residents at the poignant Service of Remembrance in Droitwich.

Thank you to the Royal British Legion and all who helped organise the event.

I rotate each year between the two main towns in my constituency (Droitwich and Evesham) for Remembrance Sunday services.

But I always endeavour to pay my respects at the war memorials in each location.

I attended the service in Droitwich today but am grateful to Cllr Andrew Dyke for laying a wreath on my behalf in Evesham which I visited this afternoon.
