The Government's decision to designate Wychavon could allow major planning applications to bypass local decision-makers altogether.

In this interview, I explain why I'm opposing the decision and standing up for local democracy. Alongside Dame Harriett Baldwin MP, I am seeking an urgent meeting with the Housing Minister to press our case and ensure the voices of local residents are heard loud and clear.

Whether you support more development or less development, decisions about the future of our communities should be made with local people, not imposed from afar.

Please complete my survey and make your voice heard. The stronger the response, the stronger the message we can take directly to Government.
