Great to visit Ombersley Golf Club and meet with Nigel Dowty to see the recent renovations and hear more about their plans for the future.
The improvements are looking fantastic and it was clear just how much work has gone into continuing to develop the club and make it an even better facility for members and visitors.
We also discussed some of the pressures facing the business, particularly the rising cost of employing staff. These increases are making it harder for businesses across hospitality, sport and leisure to invest, grow and create jobs.
Golf clubs like Ombersley play an important role in our local economy and community. They provide jobs, support local suppliers and give people of all ages the opportunity to stay active and socialise.
