A grim pre-Christmas surprise from Labour. Wychavon District Council is set to receive less government funding while cities like Birmingham see huge increases.

This is the latest example of Labour showing that it simply does not understand, nor care for, our rural areas.

I will be scrutinising this settlement closely and making the case for Wychavon. Rural areas must not be treated as an afterthought in national funding decisions.
