Unfortunately due to high time pressure on the Parliamentary schedule, this is a highly truncated version of the speech I intended to deliver.

I was saddened this week by the news that small airline Flybmi has collapsed and cancelled all flights. The airline carried over 500,000 passengers last year and many have been left stranded abroad or with ruined travel plans.

I joined MPs from across the UK this week in supporting a national recruitment campaign from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), to address the 110,000 vacancies in adult social care across England.

One of the key features of the landmark Domestic Abuse Bill published by the Government last month is the establishment of a Domestic Abuse Commissioner.

On Wednesday 6th February I hosted a lunch event for Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce in Parliament.

This week I joined calls for Great Western Railway (GWR) to make further improvements to train services.

Despite the snow, I managed to have a busy day in the constituency on Friday 1st February. 

This week I pledged my support for this year’s Great British Spring Clean, run by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.

On Friday 25th January I had a fascinating visit to the FCC Environment Envirosort recycling centre near Norton.
