Attending Wychavon's 50th Year Celebration

A beautiful service in every way to celebrate 50 years of Wychavon District Council today - held at the grand Pershore Abbey and led by our fantastic Wychavon Chairman, Councillor Robert Raphael.

Visiting Spetchley Park Gardens

I was pleased to be able to once again visit the beautiful Spetchley Park Gardens, with the flowers really starting to bloom. It was insightful to meet many of the team and hear of all the different projects that they are working on, including the planting of 52,000 trees this autumn.

I had a fascinating visit to Blue Print Direct Mail based on the Hampton Lovett Trading Estate in Droitwich. I met Anthony Drew (MD) and his senior team.

The business was formed over 25 years ago and has always been based in Worcestershire.

Blossom Watch Week 2024

The annual celebration of the UK's spectacular blossom season is now in its fifth year, boosting tourism and connecting people to nature.

Blossom is particularly important to Mid Worcestershire, with the Blossom Trail and the Sakura Cherry Tree Project.

Government Action to Improve Healthcare in Mid Worcestershire

The Government is investing in healthcare here in Mid Worcestershire, taking the action needed to make the system faster, simpler and fairer for patients, supported by record funding for our health and social care system.

Incident at the Pear Tree Inn

Many constituents will be concerned about the incident at the Pear Tree Inn near Worcester last week.

I understand that the 25-year-old man who was attacked was taken to hospital and is in stable condition, and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
