Highlights of the last 2 years

Since the last election, I have been busy inside and outside Parliament serving my constituents of Mid Worcestershire.

I have pulled together a video of some of the highlights of what has been a fascinating, unpredictable and historic term.

Flood warnings

You may be aware that over the weekend, we had an exceptional amount of rain in Worcestershire and river levels peaked across the region.

River Avon in Evesham peaked yesterday and Crown Meadow is largely flooded.

Business Breakfast with Local Business Leaders

It was a pleasure to talk to local Business leaders at a Business Breakfast hosted by the The Wood Norton Hotel in Evesham last Friday. We had a constructive discussion about Brexit and a range of other local and national matters.

Direct Sports Provision PE & Sport Conference

It was a pleasure to be asked by Marc Kings from Direct Sports Provision to open the PE & Sports Conference at Pershore this morning, promoting physical and mental wellbeing at schools and helping teachers with their professional development.

Visit to JMDA Design

Thank you to Cherril and Derrick Barker of JMDA Design for taking the time to show me around and talk about your business.

Evesham Mop Fair

Last weekend, I attended another great annual, fun, family event in the Vale of Evesham: the Evesham Mop.

I had a great time on the Ferris Wheel and sampling the great food vans - a burger at a fair is the definition of comfort eating.

Community Coffee Morning in Bishampton

It was good to catch up with the local West Mercia police team last week at the wonderful Dolphin Pub in Bishampton at a community coffee morning.

Bird Box Placing with BASC

While the weather was nice I recently visited Spetchley Park Gardens and, along Jak Abrahams from BASC, I placed a bird box within the grounds as part of BASC's nationwide bird conservation project.

Silver Sunday

This Sunday I'm supporting Silver Sunday in my constituency. Silver Sunday is a day to celebrate and cherish the older people in our families and communities and encourage activities, days out and events which connect the old, young and everyone in-between.
