Teller for final vote in Parliament

Yesterday marked John Bercow's last day as the Speaker and I had the privilege of being the teller and reader (a government whip who counts the number of people who pass through the lobbies during votes) relating to vote on the annual canvass of the electoral roll.

Association of Convenience Stores reception

Yesterday I attended the Association of Convenience Stores reception in Parliament to show my support and sign the 'Local Shop' pledge, which recognises the importance of local shops in our towns and villages.

The Bill is the first in a generation that will legally underpin the restoration of nature and set binding targets for improving air and water quality.

Additional Funding for Worcestershire Schools

While MPs debate the Queen’s Speech, which sets out the Government’s ambitious domestic agenda for the year ahead, I want to update constituents on the very welcome news that schools throughout #Worcestershire will receive millions of pounds in additional funding from next April.
