I have seen some comments in local media over the past few weeks about my activities in relation to traffic congestion in Evesham and the quotes attributed to me do not accurately reflect my view on the matter or where responsibility for roads lies.

Refused Doctors' Visas letter

On Friday 11th May the Parental Bereavement (Leave and Pay) Bill was debated in the House of Commons and I was present in the Chamber to lend my support.

Launch of first ever Veterans Strategy

I welcome the launch of the first ever Veterans Strategy. It was announced by Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson on Monday 23rd April, as was the creation of a new cross-Government Veterans Unit.

Sajid Javid appointed as Home Secretary

Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid has been appointed as Home Secretary. Sajid moves from his position as Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government. He has also previously held Cabinet positions as Business, Innovation and Skills Secretary and Culture, Media and Sport Secretary.
