Attending a D-Day Service in Broadway

The final D-Day event I attended yesterday was the Churches Together Service of Remembrance in Broadway where I read out tohe radio address and prayer delivered by US President Franklin D. Roosevelt on 6 June 1944.

As the sky darkened and the red lights lit up the war memorial, it was a beautiful end to a memorable day of reflection, appreciation and commemoration.

Thank you to everyone who organised or attended the wonderful series of events across Worcestershire.
