I was really pleased to join the TSB branch team in Evesham this morning to hand over a cheque for more than £500 to the Evesham Mobility Centre.
There was also a cake sale going on in the branch today to kick off fundraising for this year's chosen charity: Caring Hands in the Vale. Caring Hands in the Vale seeks to help relieve poverty and need in the Vale of Evesham through practical support. Those referred to Caring Hands in the Vale can receive food parcels, toiletry packs, bedding, clothing and blankets free of charge depending on their circumstances. There are also resources available for individuals who are street homeless or sofa surfing. Further information can be found on their website: http://www.chands.org.uk/index.htm
Special thanks to Paula Howard for putting so much effort into co-ordinating these fundraising activities.
