I joined Sir Peter Luff MP and other local supporters to wave goodbye to the 8 cyclists who started their journey from Evesham Bell Tower to Big Ben (and back) on Saturday morning – kicking off the beginning of Evesham Cyclefest. The Cyclefest is raising funds for the Bell Tower Appeal and involves a series of events running until 21 September. See this website for further information and to links to the sponsorship pages of the 8 brave cyclists (John Webster, Fiona Narburgh, Alan Granger, Charlie Homer, Mike Hopkins, Simon Moore, Colin Tether and Robin Walker).
The Tour of Britain will also be passing through Wychavon on Wednesday 10th September. More details and estimated times of the cyclists arrival in your area can be found here.
