I had a great time in Worcestershire over the weekend, with lots of local events taking place in the sunshine.
After a lovely visit to Hartlebury school and a meeting at the County Council offices on Friday morning, I headed off to the Three Counties Show in Malvern. It was a great show and a pleasure to join Harriett Baldwin, Bill Wiggin, and several other MPs at Anthea MacIntyre MEP’s stand.
On Saturday I spent the day in the blazing sunshine at the fifth annual Droitwich Spa Food and Drink Festival, where I had the honour of introducing the celebrity chef guest, Brian Turner. It was a fantastic event with stalls from over 100 local food and drinks companies, and is well worth a visit. I then visited the Wartime in the Vale event near Evesham.
With such a variety of events and shows on offer in just one weekend it is no wonder our county keeps being named one of the best places to live in the UK.
