We had a great time at the 112th annual Badsey Flower Show on Saturday. The entire village must have turned out. Great weather and lots to do. Congratulations to the organizers.
My family and I joined dozens of volunteers from the Evesham area in a (slightly delayed) “Spring” clean up of the parks and town centre streets this evening.
I was disappointed to hear that the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has allowed the appeal cases of two very large housing developments at Yew Tree Hill (on the southern end of Droitwich Spa) and Long Marston (on the borders of Warwickshire) to go ahead.
We had a great time at Asparafest music and food festival in Badsey this weekend. I ran into Mark Goodge (former Mayor of Evesham) and we enjoyed a pint at the Fleece Inn beer tent.
My children and I enjoyed the Cropthorne Walkabout last week. The sun was shining and we had a great time having a good look around some beautiful gardens (I had considerable garden envy at the end of the day). Put 3rd and 4th May 2015 in your diary now if you want to attend next year.
The Right Honourable Theresa May MP, Home Secretary, visited Broadway, Worcestershire on Tuesday 25th March and held a Question & Answer session with local residents at the Lygon Arms Hotel.
I held a Q&A event with local residents in Evesham on Friday 28 February. Questions ranged from Europe to the Bridge to Benefits, Schools and Immigration.
